Women Pregnancy Calculator - Due Date & Live Minutes
Doctor's LMP Method (280 Days) - Auto-Saves - USA & Europe Date Supported
How is Pregnancy Due Date Calculated? 280 Days Rule Explained
Doctors worldwide use Naegele's Rule: Add 280 days (40 weeks) or 9 months + 7 days to the first day of your Last Menstrual Period (LMP). Why 280 days? Because ovulation/conception happens about 14 days after LMP. So gestational age (from LMP) is 2 weeks more than fetal age (from conception). Our calculator uses this exact standard. We also show Live Minutes since LMP - it updates every minute and auto-saves so you can come back and track.
USA vs Europe Date Format - Expert Solution for Pregnancy Tracking
Wrong date can cause missed scan. USA: MM/DD/YYYY (e.g., 05/13/2026). Europe/UK/Pakistan: DD/MM/YYYY (13/05/2026). Our solution: 1) Input type="date" auto-shows local format. 2) Output always shows Month Name: May 13, 2026 - universally clear, Google-recommended. 3) For Google backend we provide ISO 2026-05-13. This is the best international practice.
Trimester Guide & What to Do
- Trimester 1 (Week 1-12): Organs form. Take folic acid 400-800mcg daily, first prenatal visit at 8-10 weeks, NT scan at 11-13 weeks.
- Trimester 2 (Week 13-27): Golden period. Anomaly scan at 18-20 weeks, feel baby movement at 18-22 weeks, glucose test at 24-28 weeks.
- Trimester 3 (Week 28-40): Rapid growth. Baby is early term at 37w, full term at 39-40w. Pack hospital bag by 35w. Kick count daily.
